Brief History
Sta. Catalina North District II is a newly created District in the Municipality of Sta. Catalina.
It started last January 2012 and was first headed by Ms. Juliet J. Tuala. A few months after, she was transferred and another energetic leader led the district, Mr. Renato G. Tano. But due to some changes for the betterment, a year after another young and equally dedicated District In-Charge was installed, Mr. Marcelo K. Palispis from Siaton West District. As they say that only change is permanent in this world, by late October 2014 another vibrant and brilliant leader Mrs. Elisa L. Baguio takes charge the District.
Though Sta. Catalina North II is the youngest district in the municipality, it is the home of achievers. Out of its (16) sixteen elementary schools, (1) one primary school and (6) six secondary schools, the district is the National Awardee for the Clean And Green Program specifically the Ambrocio Ramirez Central Elem. School as well as the GPAK Gulayan sa Paaralan Alay Sa Kabataan Program. Another school brings pride and honor to the district when Kakha Elem. School got the National Award as the Best Implementer for Brigada Eskwela Program for small schools Category.
Currently, this district starts making a mark in the Department of Education. Administrators, teachers and stakeholders are joining their forces for the districts' welfare.
